I've been looking at free apps that have applications for the classroom.

gFlash+
for creating flash cards, it can be used on iphones or ipads

Goodreads
This is a "social networking" site for book lovers.  I am considering using it for my classes when we have literature circles.    They can comment on their books, rate books, and track reading progress.  iphones/ipads

  1. So, I'm still having trouble with this blog, I don't think I'm totally logged in -- I don't see a way to create a new thread etc. Anyway, I was wondering, will be receiving the attachments to connect the ipads to the LCDs? (And is everybody else having to type in security codes each time they want to post to the blog?

  2. Your idea about Good Reads is an excellent one. Personally, I love this application and I think students will as well. And the flashcards application is great! Thanks for the tips!
